One meeting per teacher per conference—and clearer event options

Enforce One Meeting Per Teacher Per Conference—With Clear Event Options

Some schools need families to distribute their time. When every parent tries to book the same three teachers for thirty minutes each, conference night turns into a scheduling collision. A policy that limits parents to one meeting per teacher per conference keeps the schedule fair and the hallways moving.

PTC Wizard can now enforce that limit at the school level. Administrators enable the setting for a specific event, and the booking flow prevents parents from scheduling a second meeting with the same teacher once the first is confirmed. Parents who try to add a duplicate receive a clear explanation rather than a confusing error.

This release also rewrote several event option labels to use plain language instead of software terminology, so the choices administrators see when configuring a conference match the words they would actually use to describe their scheduling policy.
